Pá o Play welcomes voice actors from "Chaves" in a nostalgic and fun chat

This Friday's Dá o Play program brought a special meeting with the Brazilian voice actors of two iconic characters from the series Chaves: Cecília Lemes (Chiquinha) and Carlos Seidl (Seu Madruga). In a lighthearted atmosphere full of memories, the artists talked about the behind the scenes of dubbing and the affection of the Brazilian public for the series.

During the conversation, one of the highlights was the reflection on what makes Brazilian dubbing so remarkable. "I think it's our dedication," said Cecília. "The voice actor has to forget about himself, he has to give himself up. It's the artistic side, it's not just about synchronizing. It's about living."

Cecília also explained the challenges of the profession: "Dubbing is done sitting down. If you have to make more noise, you have to control it, because the microphone picks up everything."
